Office chairs to Aritco

Sustainability was the vision underpinning Aritco Lift AB’s major office relocation and renovation. When the company moved to its completely renovated 16,500 m² office and industrial building, many of the original building’s features had been preserved and a great deal of vintage furniture had been put to use again. The furnishing concept would be based on Scandinavian design with furniture characterised by authentic materials and clean lines. The Scandinavian style was complemented by furniture with an industrial character to reflect Aritco’s production.

Activity based with Savo Soul

Savo delivered Savo Joi and Savo Soul with mesh backs to the new activity-based office. To promote collaboration between production and the office, large glass partitions were used instead of walls. The building also includes many project rooms and areas designed for working in groups or individually as required. Savo Soul is used with screened desks and in project locations. The Savo Joi balance stools that complement the workstations are easily moved for working and seating anywhere in the office.

Elegance at the eminent Borenius law firm

Having been in practice for more than 100 years, Borenius is one of the largest, most experienced law firms in Finland. In 2019, Borenius was nominated Nordic Law Firm of the Year in the Lawyer European Awards. The law firm also has offices in Tampere, St. Petersburg, London and New York. When planning its new office in Helsinki, the company also updated its visual identity to reflect the workplace and its culture.

The stylish office settings are in white, grey and black. Savo XO, exclusive office chairs with high backs, sturdy dimensions and timeless design, were chosen for the private offices. Presentation rooms were furnished with height-adjustable desks and Savo Invite with mesh backs was selected for seating. The chairs were specially selected for their ergonomic qualities and the upholstered seats add colour to the otherwise pale decor in the rooms.

Colourful and inviting at Siemens

When Siemens moved its headquarters to new premises in Arenastaden, Stockholm, the goal was to create an inspiring, activity-based workplace where people can meet and interact naturally. The move involved a transition to a workplace with enhanced flexibility and activity-based functionality.

The landscape in the activity-based office is divided into zones to reduce noise levels. The layout combines open spaces, meeting rooms and conference rooms of various sizes on five different floors. The workstations are furnished with height-adjustable desk and Savo Soul chairs with mesh backs.

Colourful office chairs for meeting rooms

Savo offers a wide range of fabrics that let you upholster your chairs in any colour. Siemens took advantage of this when furnishing small meeting rooms and privacy booths with upholstered Savo Invite without armrests, and the Savo Joi stool in vibrant colours to match the colour schemes of meeting room walls. The entire office interior is designed to motivate and inspire employees and promote interaction.

Savo Soul supports activity-based work at Trygg-Hansa

Today, Swedish insurance company Trygg-Hansa’s Kungsholmen head office in Stockholm is still located in the same impressive building designed by Tengbom’s architectural office at the end of the 1970s. In conjunction with the extensive reconstruction at Trygg-Hansa’s head office, Savo supplied a large number of Savo Soul and Savo Joi chairs.

Chairs for project rooms and workplaces

The starting point for the project was to reduce the company’s office space from seven floors to two. Today, a traditional office building with many private offices has been replaced by an activity-based approach that encompasses the entire organization. There are plenty of project rooms for work or meetings at Trygg-Hansa, and so the workstations were equipped with versions of Savo Soul and Savo Joi. Savo Soul caters for the need for seats that can be quickly adapted for a wide range of people. The seat follows the body’s movements and the most important settings of seat height, seat depth and back height are easily adjusted while seated. Trygg-Hansa chose Savo Soul with mesh backs and Savo Soul with high seats, footrings and mesh backs.

Meeting chairs at Elektroskandia

Elektroskandia has built a new central warehouse with offices and a retail store in Örebro, Sweden, to meet the demands of tomorrow and a growing market. With a floor space of no less than 43,500 m2, the building is also of a high standard that benefits its indoor and outdoor environments. Among other things, it uses renewable energy generated by the solar panel installation on the building, and the property has been certified to Swedish Green Building silver level.

A little over 100 people work in the office and the building has private offices, open plan workplaces, consultation rooms, quiet rooms, conference rooms and meeting rooms. The new interior design meets employee needs for spaces in which to collaborate as well as enjoy privacy. The Savo Invite meeting chair with a 5-star base and mesh back matches the pale grey-scale scheme in the conference rooms. The seat has a unique feature that provides lumbar support even when its occupant leans back.
